Vintage West Germany Fox Handle Stein Mug .5 Liter Da Such Ich Meine Freude. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This stein has no chips or cracks. It does appear around the bottom some of the luster has worn off. In addition to the fox handle, the stein features two stags and hunters showing off their fox catch to a pretty maid. It is inscribed with Da such ich meine freude and while I do not speak German, Google says it translates to Looking for my joy which is probably not exact since I know how Google Translate works. This is a nice .5 liter stein marked Western Germany on the bottom. It also appears to have a 6 or a 9 stamped in the bottom as well as possibly a 3 prong mark. The mark is indented in the bottom and very hard to see. I have not been able to find a similar mark.
