Unique, beautifully constructed with hand made hidden locking mechanism,
Alternating dark and light stained rectangular pieces/ blocks line edge of both top and base which overhang box sides.
Press down on one of the darker stained blocks loaded base pieces to release and set the locking top.
Great original finish - no breaks. Clean interior.
This box has been in a collection for many years.
