    Description

    GERMAN STONEWARE BEER STEIN / PEWTER LID
    This is a nice old stoneware beer stein with cobalt glaze from Germany.
    It has an embossed design with a Hunting theme.
    The front has a hunter with rifle, a deer with cross on its head and a hunting bow.
    The side has depicts a target with crossed rifles.
    There are also words in German which roughly translate to read "Take a good shot - a kiss here - Safe Hand  - And a heart for the Lowlands".
    This stein has a great subject, although it does have a chip and a split in the lid.
