This is a great used spyderco military model in right hand tip down carry folding knife in s30v steel.
This is a rework custom by bladehandler. The tip was re ground poorly so I did a complete rework, it is now a little shorter than factory at approx 3.75" with actual blade length at 3.5".
I followed the blade shape close to factory and put in a short clip point since the tip had been broken, this strengthens the tip a lot.
There were some use marks on the blade finish so I did a simple light scotchbrite finish in that area only and left the rest alone, I think it blended well, all logos and info is intact.
The g10 scales showed some damage so I did a flat grind on the back end where it was rounded and matched the chamfer so it looks like factory. The end towards the blade also had minor damage so I did a simple flat grind to both sides to make it look even.
I think it came out great and looks like it could be factory all around. This shortened the scales to 5-3/8". The palm fit is unchanged so feels just like factory.
Centering is excellent, lockup is perfect and I put new grease on the bronze washers for a very smooth opening.
Original pocket clip and hardware shows wear from carrying,
