In the mid-1960s my dad's company sent him to work in Germany for a few years.  The family spent a couple of years there before returning to the States.  We traveled extensively visiting many countries, seeing the local sights, attending events, and experiencing the different cultures.  My dad enjoyed visiting different food and drink events and establishments.  This was one of the items he brought back from Germany.  This big 1 liter mug weighs 952.5 grams = 2.1 pounds.  It looks to be hand-thrown based on the swirl on the base and inside, with a gray salt glaze finish.  The blue
Reichardtbräu Landshut is bright and clear.  It stands approx. 185mm = 7.25" tall.  The flaws I see are a chip on the edge of the base and a hairline crack at the rim.  These are very hard to find collectibles.  Based on the history and desirability of
