Minton Tower Jug Mug Majolica Jester 1231 Dancing People Colorful Glazed

We have a Minton Majolica glazed pottery pitcher or mug that was made in the late 1800’s. The pitcher is 13” tall.
The scene is of several people dancing around the body in relief. The lid is a majolica glazed jester within a pewter ring. The pitcher might have a chip repair on the lid. It looks so good that I’m really not convinced that there is a repair near the spout. I have seen these before where the spout of the lid was damaged. If this was damaged and repaired it is perfect in appearance. I think that this is a very unusual Minton piece and makes a wonderful addition to any advanced collectors collection.
