    Description

    This fine and unusual Mettlach 1/4 L  beaker is decorated with the arms for the German state of Baden (matches Mettlach stein #2893/129F).  It has a central crowned shield supported on either side by crowned black griffins.  Below is the motto "Fur Baden" within a banner.  The beaker is 5" tall and is 2 3/4" wide at the lip.  Except for some minor interior staining and one tiny flea bite chip at the lip and a small associated tight 1/2" hairline crack behind it, the beaker is in good condition (see photos #6 and #7).
