  • Condition: MACBETH EVANS AMERICAN SWEETHEART MONAX OPALESCENT 3 1/2" CREAM & SUGAR SET 1930-1936 These are in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Fleabites. Very Nice MacBeth-Evans Cup and Saucer Sets. Crafted between 1930 and 1936, these feature the "American Sweetheart Monax (White)" pattern that have raised floral ornamentation, lacy swirls, and a transcluent opalescent style that gives off a light blue hue when held near light. There are raised vertical lines alternating between the designs on both the cups and saucers. While Monax was originally produced for and intended to be used in ceiling fixture shades, it was soon discovered that it translated into wonderful dinnerware. The Creamer measures 3 1/2" High x 3 7/8" Wide spout to handle and the Sugar Bowl measures 3 3/8" High x 4 7/8" Wide handle to handle.

    These are in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Fleabites.  Very Nice MacBeth-Evans Cup and Saucer Sets.
