    Here we have the
    CHIVE
    Spring Assisted Knife with
    Safety Lock
    , designed by Ken Onion with
    SpeedSafe Technology
    and “Made in USA” by Kershaw (model: 1600). Handle is made of a solid non-reflective 410 Stainless Steel, has Lanyard Hole and a Safety Slider that locks blade securely in the closed position. Blade color matches the handle and is made of 420-HC (high carbon) Stainless Steel. Blade opens with the ambidextrous thumb stud (old school) or the modern SPEEDSAFE “Finger-Flipper”. Blade locks in the fully open position, uses a Frame-Lock release to close the blade. Once blade is closed, there is a Safety Slider on the lower back-side of handle that keeps blade locked securely in the closed position. Has removable pocket clip for easy carry. This is the smallest model of the Kershaw Assisted Knives.
