Rick Hinderer for Kershaw (model: 3880). This knife has all the features of the ZT Hinderer 0566 but produced by the world leader in high-tech manufacturing. China has come a long way over the years, and now with the assistance of U.S. Knife Designer Rick Hinderer and under contract by Kershaw, the Chinese are proud to display the new world-standards and their highest level of quality with the production of this knife. Blade is cut from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a stonewash finish. Handle is a 410 stainless steel frame with machined and textured black G-10 front-scale and reinforced by a uniquely designed back-spacer, also has a long slotted lanyard hole. Backside of handle is 410 stainless steel with a stonewash finish and resembles the
ZT HINDERER 0566
with it’s frame-lock release and lock-bar stabilizer. Blade opens smoothly with spring assisted SPEEDSAFE technology using the ambidextrous thumb stud or the more popular extended tang
“finger-flipper”
. Blade locks in the fully open position, uses a frame-lock release to close the blade. Pocket clip comes mounted for right-handed tip down carry but can be moved to right or left handed, tip up or tip down carry position. This clip is designed for deep-pocket
