It's from the annual beer festival in Erlangen, Bavaria.  This is the 3rd largest fair in Bavaria.
This stein is a .5 liter stoneware beauty for Kitzmann Bier.  This is limited edition stein is from the 1999 festival.
It's in pre-owned very good condition having only been displayed.  Marked on the base "Limitierte Auflage".
