  • Condition: This is a decent condition, mostly working old EM arcade game from Midway. The cabinet is in ok condition. It has some flaws and it's perfect. Also, the paint is flaking off on the side. The backglass is in very good condition, but some paint is flaking on it. The interior components are in pretty good condition. More importantly, it is mostly working. I haven't done anything to restore it - this is just how I got it. But nevertheless, it is mostly working.

    Description

    WORKING CONDITION:
This game is somewhat working.  When you trip the coin switch, the score and timer reset.  The timer starts counting up.  The thing that shows jet airplanes flying overhead starts going.  The joystick starts controlling the aim of the rocket launcher.  When the fire button is pressed, it fires a missile at the planes flying overhead.
When you have the gun aimed perfectly at a jet, and you fire the missile at the exact right time, there is an "explosion" shown in the sky, and you get points added to your score.  When the timer reaches 240, the game stops and goes to Game Over.
I don't know if this is exactly how it is supposed to work, or if there are other features that I'm not aware of or not observing.  Truth is I've never played the game before so I'm just not sure.  But it's doing quite a bit, and anything it's not doing may not take much work to get going.
Here is a link to a video showing how it is working:

    PHYSICAL CONDITION and RATINGS:
The game is in decent condition in my opinion.  Certainly a bit rough in some ways.  The paint is just flaking off all over the cabinet.  I don't know what to do about this or how to stop it.  I couldn't even clean the cabinet up because it would have caused so much paint to flake off.
The control panel is in very good condition.  The controller works well and feels good.  The glass is in ok condition, but some paint is flaking in places.  The coin door is working and has a working quarter coin mech and original coin box.  There are new locks on the front and top back door.
If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer.

    LOCATION:
This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754.  That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located!  I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip!  We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options.  Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.
    SHIPPING:
Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines.  They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only).  This is for the 48 contiguous United States only.  If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.
Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week.  So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country.  In some rare cases possibly longer.
For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers.  You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback.  Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping.  What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above.  And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off.  I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
