This is an excellent card, has a long range, is very compatible and easy to use.
I've personally carefully t
ested each
to successfully recognize my home wifi signal using a Powerbook G3 Pismo or a Powerbook G4 Titanium.
Often these used cards have marks or glue residue on the label, particular the back side, but of course this is insignificant to their function.
This card  will only work with relatively older modems, and you should contact your service provider to see if this will work for you if your not sure.
In my home, I get around this during the testing, by using older Apple Airport Express (my models are A1084 or A1301) WiFi extenders (which can be found inexpensively on eBay).

This wire is inside your case, and it's end plug (which inserts into the card) should be close to where the card inserts into the computer.
