    Super nice vintage German stein.

    Stamped "Germany".
    Also stamped with "1267".
    Winfield Scott Schley [1839 1911] was an Rear Admiral of the United States Navy and the hero of the Battle of Santiago de Cuba during the Spanish-American War.
    On one side of the stein is an American Eagle, wings spread in front of an American flag, and on the other side is an Eagle with a shield with the words E Pluribus Unum. This fabulous stein depicts Rear Admiral W.S. Schley who was one of the heroes of the Spanish/ American war. William Scott Schley (October 1839 - October 19ll) was a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
