Hydraulic brakes - DRIVE WITH A CAR LICENSE!!!
This truck was last inspected in 2015 and has been driven as a FARM VEHICLE since (so no inspection necessary).
The GOOD:
- New front tires (less than 100 miles)
- Brand new mirrors and sandblasted mirror frames
- New coolant reservoir
- New brake boost/power steering pump
- New windshield wiper motor assembly
- New windshield washing liquid tank
- Everything seems to work fine; runs and drives great
- Brakes work well
- Transmission (5 speed manual) shifts as it should
- Starts every time, although needs choke to start
- Dump bed works great
- Heater works great
- Overall GREAT condition. Surprisingly little rust!!!
The BAD:
- Rear tires slight dry rot
- Front fender rusted at step area - left and right side (welded new piece to pass inspection in 2015); see picture
- Service engine light is on (not sure why; still runs fine)
- Seat is ripped (see picture)
- Windscreen has scratch (was run with bad windshield wiper, apparently)
- The emissions control system has been blocked (and by-passed) off a long time ago
- There is some rust forward of the pivot point of the dump bed which makes the dump bed bounce a bit when empty and driving on the road....makes for a shaky ride!
Overall a GREAT truck, and getting harder and harder to find in this condition!
