This 1935 Chevy standard 3 window coupe is an amazing survivor. It's a roller, no engine or transmission. It's all original steel except for the right front fender which is fiberglass. The body is VERY straight and solid and I can find NO signs of rust thru or rot anywhere and no signs it's ever been patched or repaired in any of the panels or floors. The front floorboard wood section has been replaced with a stainless steel panel. The body wood that I can see looks great. The glass is all perfect. The interior has been reupholstered in the original style and is in excellent condition. The paint is old black lacquer with numerous scratches, chips and cracks like old lacquer does. Doors open and close nicely with no sag. Windows roll up and down well. I believe the car was a nicely restored original until the early 90's when it was semi street rodded. Sometime around 2010 it was disassembled to be further street rodded and that project stalled out. It's been parked since then. The rear end has been replaced with a 10 bolt GM, probably Nova or Camaro. Front axle and suspension is original. It has a brand new original type gas tank installed. A new heater - a/c box has been installed under the dash (Vintage Air?) but unfortunately I have none of the other parts for that. Autometer gauges have been installed in the dash panel. There is no wiring in the car. You will need a complete wiring harness. The steering box has been updated to a Vega style unit. It has an aftermarket column shifter installed to shift an automatic transmission. A new aluminum radiator (SBC) is included. It has four 215-70-R15 Yokohama tires with zero miles. Very nice original grill and shell. The headlights and front bumper are missing. Check out the pictures and ask questions if you have any. This would be a great winter project that could be easily on the road by spring. If you're looking for a steel classic Chevy coupe to build you won't find a better start anywhere than this one. Nothing has been cut or butchered on the car except for a small section of the firewall and some trimming on the X member for the automatic transmission. It could still be a viable candidate for an original restoration if you had a donor car for the drive train. I have lots of pictures. If you would like to see a picture of a certain area of the car just ask. All the descriptions of the car's condition are just my opinion. I've tried to describe it honestly but you are highly encouraged to come and inspect it yourself before bidding.
