    A gorgeous 1873 key date proof three cent silver piece graded PR 65 by PCGS. It holds some attractive blue and green toning as shown in the PCGS Secure Photo. This key date coin is the key to the series and was only minted as a proof strike coin. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder and we believe their photo to give the best representation of how this coin looks in person when being tilted in the light.
    This key date coin holds a tiny mintage of only 600. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 575 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 66 graded Proof 65 by PCGS.
